Tammy Sibley, Principal

My name is Tammy Sibley and I must say that it is an honor and privilege to have been named the new principal of Unity Elementary School. This school year marks my twenty-seventh year as an elementary educator. I have served in a variety of roles such as classroom teacher, early intervention teacher, English/Language Arts instructional support teacher, and assistant principal. I began my career in the Clayton County School System where I served for seven years before staying home to raise my son. I recently completed my nineteenth year of service in the Fayette County School System.

I have been a resident of Peachtree City  for the past twenty-four years and reside with my husband, Clarence and son, Mitchell. My husband is a mechanic for Concrete Supply Company and my son is finishing up his second computer related Associate degree at West Georgia Technical College. My in-laws were residents of Meriwether county for over thirty years before they passed away, so I am very familiar with the area.

I am excited about this new opportunity I have been given to make a positive impact at Unity Elementary School. Relationships are important to me and I am looking forward to building strong relationships with the staff, students, and parents of this community. My vision is to create a school culture where everyone is kind and gives their personal best at all times. In addition, it will be my goal to ensure that the students at Unity Elementary School are involved in rigorous, relevant, engaging instruction on a daily basis, enabling them to become proficient, life-long learners.

I am looking forward to a great school year!

Crystal Moseley, Instructional Coach

Welcome to Unity Elementary School!!!

I am so excited about the 2017-2018 school year here at Unity Elementary! I feel truly blessed to be a part of the Unity family. I became the Instructional Coach for our school in January, 2016. Before promoting to Instructional Coach, I enjoyed the experience of teaching for 16 years in all grades Pre-k through 5th including within the Reading Intervention and Early Intervention Programs.

My goal as an Instructional Coach is to further help students become successful, lifelong learners by supporting our wonderful teachers here at Unity. It is my personal belief that by building relationships, collaborating, promoting teamwork, and implementing the best research-based instructional practices, we can ensure that our students here at UES achieve success both academically, emotionally and socially.

I would like to encourage parents and our surrounding community members to feel welcome and to become an actively involved participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO, or attending and supporting school events.  Our Unity family values your support and partnership in your child’s education.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have concerning curriculum and instruction here at UES. You can reach me at 770-927-6488 or by email:  crystal.moseley@mcssga.org.

I welcome the opportunity to continue working with some of the greatest students, faculty, parents, and community members in the world! I wish everyone a very safe, happy and successful school year!

Sincerely,
Crystal Moseley, Instructional Coach
