MCSS Rewarded 21st CCLC Grant for Five Additional Years!

 Since July 2018, MCSS has been awarded $9 million in grants, and the 21st Century Program has had a tremendous impact on our after-school programs over the last 5 years. 

We’re excited to announce that MCSS was awarded the 21st Century Grant for the next 5 years, extending through 2029! The 21st Century Grant program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children. The program helps students meet state and local academic standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

 This continued support will help us keep making a difference in our students’ lives.
