Located in Luthersville, GA, Unity Elementary School is a proud Title I school in Meriwether County serving approximately 400 students from Pre-K through 5th grade. As a school dedicated to the success and well-being of every student, we provide free breakfast and lunch to all students, ensuring that they are nourished and ready to learn each day.

Unity Elementary has been recognized as a National Showcase School for Capturing Kids’ Hearts for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and 2024), demonstrating our commitment to building strong relationships and fostering a positive school culture. Additionally, we have earned Advancing Achievement School status from the Georgia Department of Education for successfully advancing student achievement and meeting the exit criteria for federal identification during the 2019-2022 period.

We are honored to be an operational Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school, where we focus on creating a positive, structured environment that encourages students to be safe, respectful, and responsible in all they do. Through our PBIS program, we explicitly teach and reinforce these core values, helping students make positive choices both in and out of the classroom. By recognizing and rewarding good behavior, we foster a school culture that promotes kindness, accountability, and a strong sense of community, ensuring that every student is supported in their social, emotional, and academic growth.

As Unity Patriots, we strive to be “above the line” in all that we do, continually working towards excellence in academics, character, and community. Check out our school’s Facebook page and visit us to discover what makes Unity Elementary a special place for students to grow, learn, and succeed!
