Meriwether County Schools Transition to Remote Learning on Monday, January 26th

Due to the threat of ice on the roads as well as the sidewalks and entrances at the campuses, all Meriwether County Schools will transition to remote learning on Monday, January 26, 2026.  School buses in Meriwether County begin routes before daylight resulting in difficulty seeing ice patches on roadways. Due to the uncertainty regarding the potential for ice on the roads, sidewalks, and entrances at the campuses in the early hours on Monday, January 26, 2026, Meriwether County Schools will err on the side of caution and transition to remote learning. The school system will continue to monitor this inclement weather situation and provide further updates if required.
