All Meriwether County Schools Transition to Remote Learning for Thursday, Sept. 26th and Friday, Sept. 27th

Due to the threat of inclement weather from the approaching storm front, all Meriwether County Schools will transition to remote learning on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and Friday, September 27, 2024. The approaching storm front is predicted to produce flooding and high winds on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and Friday, September 27, 2024. Saturated soil combined with high winds has the potential for downed trees and power lines resulting in hazardous road conditions and power outages. These scenarios do not allow for the safe transportation of students. Again, all Meriwether County Schools will transition to remote learning on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and Friday, September 27, 2024. The school system will continue to monitor this inclement weather situation and provide further updates if required. The Greenville Varsity Football Game will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2 PM. The Manchester Varsity Football Game will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 3 PM.
